The promotion of the third issue of GSG Magazine for Contemporary Art and Social Issues will be held in Filodrammatica in Rijeka on Wednesday, 17 November, at 19:00 CET.
In the fifth edition of SMOQUA, an international festival of queer and feminist culture organized by LORI in collaboration with Pariter Association and cultural organization GSG, GSG is presenting two projects by women artists who until now have not been known to the Croatian audience.
The Cities-Hospitals programme will host the artists and researchers Valeria Graziano, Ivana Kalc, Olga Dimitrijević and Fox & His Friends at various locations around Rijeka from 5 to 10 July. We will focus on the field of the psyche, work and space in the (post)pandemic Rijeka, the recent European Capital of Culture, through workshops, performance walks and the closing music picnic on the grass.
On Friday, 6 November, between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. come visit the From the Citizens to Their City booth in front of Zara, opposite the city clock, in Korzo, and start your epidemiologically safe audio tour with Katerina Duda. On this tour, through the art project Rijeka: The Yearbook of Movement and with numerous historical references on Rijeka Korzo, she will confront you with the differences between reality and last year’s projections.
On 15 and 16 October, come to the Palach Youth Cultural Centre (OKC Palach) in Rijeka to the fourth edition of the Smoqua International Festival of Queer and Feminist Culture. The festival is the result of joint efforts of the civil society organizations LORI and Pariter and the Centre for Women’s Studies at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Rijeka and artistic organisation From the Citizens to their City.
